
The Collings Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in 1979 in Stow, MA, dedicated to supporting living history events. Among their major efforts is the “Wings of Freedom Tour,” featuring World War II aircraft restored to flying condition. Tours and rides are offered in a B-24 Liberator, a B-17 Flying Fortress, and more recently, a P-51 Mustang.

The Collings Foundation first visited the Cumberland Airport in August 1992, and have returned several times since.
